Job Duties
- Open and close the bar following the opening and closing checklists
- prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the brand's drink recipes
- arrange and maintain liquor bottles and glasses attractively and functionally to support drink preparation and promotion of beverages
- check and verify the legal age requirement for the purchase of alcohol
- accept guest payments, process credit card charges, and make changes if necessary
- balance cash receipts
- clean and sterilize the bar areas, equipment, and surrounding work areas
- oversee bar maintenance and report any equipment issues to the restaurant manager
- limit brand liability by not serving guests who have been excessively drinking and helping arrange transportation for intoxicated guests as needed
- help serve food items to guests seated at the bar area
- assist in the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
- perform other duties as assigned by upper management
