Job Requirements
- Complete a background investigation with favorable results
- Complete a pre-employment physical examination
- Meet state and legal age (21) requirement for sale of alcoholic beverages by closing date
- Fully meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service
- Direct deposit is required
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
- Pre-employment requirements must be met prior to entrance on duty
- Appointment is Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) supporting MWR activities
Job Qualifications
- Experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale, including knowledge of a wide variety of beverages
- Experience in cash handling procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Skill in dealing with the public
Job Duties
- Operates a full service bar
- Mixes and serves all types of alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks to order, following a variety of established recipes
- Receives payments or charges to member's account as appropriate
- Responsible for the proper operation of the bar, receipts, and inventory accountability
- Accepts money, operates a cash register, and makes change
- May be required to prepare documentation for cash funds accountability
