Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in beverage service or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of liquor laws and responsible alcohol service
- Valid Food Handler Card
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Good communication skills in English
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 30 pounds
- Manual dexterity and coordination
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations
- Hold a current Food Handler Card
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages
- Basic math skills to operate cash register and make change
- Basic English writing skills for requisitions and vouchers
- Manual dexterity to use a knife, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice and mix drinks
- Basic English language skills to understand customer inquiries and communicate instructions
- Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions
- Ability to remember and promote menu items
- Ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee maker
- Ability to transport up to 30 lbs continuously throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Constant standing and walking required
- Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and smiling
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks
- Mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
- Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce
- Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
- Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies charges, records charges, and balances all moneys
- Locks up and stores beverages, food, and equipment, deposits cash drops and secures bank
- Answers bar phone within three rings and takes room service orders accurately
- Performs general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures
- Follows safety and security procedures and rules
- Knows fire prevention and emergency procedures
- Utilizes protective equipment
- Reports unsafe conditions and incidents to supervisor
- Maintains a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Performs related duties as requested by supervisor
- Assists other beverage personnel when needed
