Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1-2 years of bartending experience
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred or in progress

- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and guests
- Ability to accurately mix drinks and handle bar duties
- Knowledge of Florida state liquor laws
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred or working toward completion
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Flexibility to substitute for servers when needed
Job Duties
- Ensure the dining experience is enjoyable through cheerful behavior and adherence to merchandising, plate presentation, and service procedures
- Communicate with residents and guests to take drink orders and provide service during meals
- Accurately mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- Pour beer and wine
- Check identification to verify age for alcohol purchase
- Comply with all Florida state liquor laws and training
- Monitor and determine if a customer has had too much alcohol
- Order and maintain liquor and bar supplies
- Clean and sanitize the bar and equipment
- Maintain a personable and positive demeanor
- Report resident problems, inquiries, requests, or concerns to supervisor promptly
- Set up work station accurately before service
- Prioritize work effectively
- Communicate with manager about out-of-stock items
- Obtain consent from management before making menu changes
- Handle glasses, food, and equipment efficiently
- Report faulty equipment in need of repair
- Answer phone and take messages for takeout orders
- Substitute for server positions as needed
- Function with minimal supervision
- Set up and break down the dining room
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Attend departmental education and in-service training
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information
- Respond to fire alarms and assist in resident evacuation
- Represent the organization professionally
- Provide quality customer service
- Perform other duties as assigned
