Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least three years experience in high volume, upscale restaurant or hotel
  • must possess current Serve Safe Food Handler Card
  • must possess current ABC card
  • ability to effectively communicate
  • ability to follow directions with focus to detail
  • ability to work under minimal supervision
  • ability to carry or push beverage heavy trays up to 40 lbs
  • ability to stand for up to 8 hours

Job Qualifications

  • At least three years experience in high volume, upscale restaurant or hotel
  • current Serve Safe Food Handler Card
  • current ABC card
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to follow directions with focus to detail
  • ability to work under minimal supervision
  • physical ability to carry or push carts with beverage heavy trays
  • ability to stand for long periods of time

Job Duties

  • Set up the mise en place for the featured cocktails
  • ensure bar is stocked up
  • inform manager when items run low
  • promptly greet guests as they are seated at the bar
  • clear bar area after guests leave and take tableware to dish room
  • respond immediately and appropriately to guest requests
  • communicate with server, host and Maitre'D to assure efficient seating, table utilization and guest service
  • thank guests as they are leaving
  • maintain a high level of personal cleanliness and immaculate uniform presentation
  • be a team player and help out fellow staff whenever possible
