Job Requirements
- Complete a background investigation with favorable results
- Satisfactorily pass a pre employment physical
- Obtain a Food Handler's Certificate or complete food handler's training
- Reside in the United States for 3 years and live in the commuting area of the vacancy location
- Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years for working and/or serving alcoholic beverages
Job Qualifications
- Experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale including knowledge of a wide variety of beverages
- Ability to combine ingredients such as liquors soda water sugar bitters and fruit to make exotic drinks
- Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve the problem or seek assistance
- Ability to follow cash handling procedures
- Skill in communicating clearly and dealing with the public
- Open to everyone with preference and priority eligibilities
Job Duties
- Operate a full service bar mixing and serving all types of alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks to order following established recipes
- Deliver drinks to bar waiters or serve directly to patrons
- Receive payments or charge to a member's account as appropriate
- Wash glasses and other bar equipment
- Prepare garnishes for mixed drinks
- Help stock service bar or portable bar for catered functions
- Ensure proper operation of the bar receipts and inventory accountability
- Accept money operate a cash register and make change
- Prepare documentation for cash funds accountability as required
