Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Must have knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor laws
- Must hold a current Food Handler Card
- Basic knowledge of drink preparation and beverage service
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling
- Basic English language proficiency for communication and documentation
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Manual dexterity to prepare garnishes
- Ability to follow safety and security protocols
- Neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Duties
- Serve beverages and/or food to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
- Prepare beverages for other servers
- Act as cashier for the lounge
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
- Promote and document orders for drinks
- Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes
- Maintain proper and adequate bar setup
- Requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, condiments and produce
- Maintain stock, cut and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes daily
- Receive cash from guests, make change, verify charges and record transactions
- Lock up and store beverages, food and equipment
- Deposit cash drops and secure bank
- Answer bar phone courteously and take room service orders
- Input orders into register at point of sale and create guest checks
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Follow safety and security procedures
- Know department fire prevention and emergency procedures
- Use protective equipment
- Report unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries or property damage
- Maintain neat and clean appearance
- Perform related duties as requested
- Assist other beverage personnel when needed
