Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of bartending experience
  • Completed an approved California Responsible Beverage Service Training Program
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and high-demand shifts
  • Ability to perform well under pressure

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Take orders, prepare drinks, bus tables, manage multiple tabs, and process payments
  • Execute opening and closing duties such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins
  • Ensure the bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer
  • Check taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly, making minor repairs or changing out kegs if needed
  • Keep the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles
  • Know all drink recipes including garnish, glassware to be used and specific service, consistently using these recipes during production
  • Know all spirited beverages, beers, and wines by the glass, on tap, and by the bottle
  • Remain aware of all local liquor laws as well as company and departmental policies regarding consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Assist restaurant managers with end of month inventory and day to day inventory control, alerting management to any problems with stocking, storage, and delivery of product
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that enables getting along with guests, vendors, co-workers and management
  • Lift up to 50lbs
  • Perform additional duties as requested by your Manager
