- prior experience in beverage service or bartending preferred
- ability to handle cash accurately

Job Duties
- Serve beverages and or food to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
- prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests
- act as cashier for the lounge
- greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks
- mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
- maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce
- maintain stock, cut and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
- receive cash from guests, make any change needed, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed to balance all moneys
- lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment
- deposit cash drops and secure bank
- answer bar phone within three rings and correctly and courteously take room service orders
- input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest and personnel guests
- perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products
- adhere to all company policies and procedures
- follow safety and security procedures and rules
- know department fire prevention and emergency procedures
- utilize protective equipment
- report unsafe conditions to supervisor
- report accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss to supervisor
- provide for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules
- maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance according to team member handbook standards
- perform any related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
- assist other beverage personnel when needed
