Job Requirements
- At least two years of experience at a fast paced dining establishment
- working knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and tending bar
- a warm and outgoing personality
- commitment to delivering a unique guest experience
- excellent people skills
- ability to remain calm under pressure
- ability to multi-task in a high volume environment
- basic math skills
- ability to handle money and operate point-of-sale system
- fluent in English
- valid food handler card
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of experience at a fast paced dining establishment is preferred, however we will train the right candidate
- working knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and tending bar, with the ability to learn and follow recipes
- a warm and outgoing personality with a passion for food, wine, spirits and customer service
- must have a commitment to deliver a unique and memorable guest experience
- excellent people skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- the ability to multi-task and work well in a high volume environment
- possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
- fluent in English and proficiency in other languages is a plus
- must have valid food handler card
Job Duties
- Greet guests, take beverage orders from the servers or directly from guests
- mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered
- check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures
- collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts
- ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepare inventory
- serve snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar where appropriate
- demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions
