Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Ability to handle cash accurately and maintain balanced cash drawer
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning tasks
- Willingness to adhere to safety and security procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in beverage service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to mix, garnish and present drinks using standard recipes
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of safety, security, and fire prevention procedures
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance as per company standards
Job Duties
- Serve beverages and/or food to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
- Prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests
- Act as cashier for the lounge by receiving cash, making change, verifying charges and recording transactions
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking of all supplies
- Cut, store and maintain stock of fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables
- Answer bar phone within three rings and take room service orders accurately
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards
