- prior experience in beverage or food service preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure
- basic math skills for cash handling
- knowledge of health and safety regulations

Job Duties
- serve beverages and/or food to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
- prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests
- act as cashier for the lounge
- greet guests and promote and document orders for drinks
- mix, garnish and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
- maintain proper and adequate daily bar set-up including stocking supplies
- maintain stock, cut and store fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes and perishables
- receive cash, make change, verify charges, record transactions and balance monies
- lock up and store all beverages, food and equipment
- answer the bar phone promptly and take room service orders courteously
- input orders into the register and create checks to maintain beverage accountability
- perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards
- adhere to all company policies and procedures
- follow safety, security, fire prevention and emergency procedures
- utilize protective equipment as required
- report unsafe conditions, accidents or injuries to supervisor
- maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- perform related duties as requested by supervisors
- assist other beverage personnel when needed
