Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Good manual dexterity for mixing and handling beverages
  • Basic math skills for cashiering duties
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene regulations
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a bar or lounge preferred
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation and mixing techniques
  • Basic cashiering skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of health and safety standards
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Serve beverages and/or food to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
  • Prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests
  • Act as cashier for the lounge including receiving cash, making change, verifying charges, and balancing money
  • Greet guests courteously and promote drink orders
  • Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
  • Maintain proper and adequate bar setup daily including requisitioning and stocking supplies
  • Maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes and perishables daily
  • Receive and record room service orders and input orders into point of sale system
  • Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products
  • Adhere to company policies, safety and security procedures and rules
  • Report unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries or property damage to supervisor
  • Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance according to guidelines
  • Perform related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
  • Assist other beverage personnel when needed
