Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in beverage service or hospitality preferred
- excellent communication skills
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- knowledge of mixing and garnishing drinks
- ability to follow safety and health regulations
- must maintain neat clean and well-groomed appearance

Job Duties
- serve beverages and/or food to guests in a friendly courteous and timely manner
- prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests
- act as cashier for the lounge
- greet guests courteously and promote and document orders for drinks
- mix garnish and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
- maintain proper and adequate bar set-up daily including requisitioning and stocking supplies
- cut and store fresh fruit vegetable garnishes and perishables daily to ensure quality
- receive cash from guests make change verify charges record charges and balance all money
- lock up and store beverages food and equipment items deposit cash drops and secure bank
- answer bar phone promptly take room service orders input orders into register and create checks
- perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products
- adhere to all company policies procedures safety and security rules
- know department fire prevention and emergency procedures and utilize protective equipment
- report unsafe conditions accidents injuries near-misses property damage or loss to supervisor
- maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance
- perform related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
- assist other beverage personnel when needed
