Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to verify age and refuse service to minors
- Knowledge of drink recipes and alcohol pairing
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash and operate register
- Willingness to obtain TIP certification within three months
- Neat and clean appearance with good personal hygiene
- Ability to work standing for extended periods
- Team player with a positive attitude
Job Qualifications

- Previous experience as a bartender or in a related customer service role preferred
- Knowledge of standard drink recipes and beverage preparation techniques
- Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- TIP certification or willingness to obtain within three months
- Basic understanding of alcohol laws and responsible service practices
Job Duties
- Set up a bar with supplies such as fruit, garnishes, cocktail napkins, and glassware prior to opening
- Ensure correct display of products to enhance sales and showcase selection
- Receive and prepare drink orders from guests and servers using standard pours and recipes, ensuring accuracy
- Ring drink orders into register, collect money and make correct change
- Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating, take genuine interest in enhancing guest relations
- Close down bar by securing inventory, cleaning and sanitizing the bar, and putting supplies away
- Assist servers with serving food and beverages when necessary
- Wear a big smile and make guests feel welcomed and happy
- Inform guests of daily specials and chef's specialties
- Take guests orders accurately and timely
- Place orders with kitchen and inform cooks about special cooking instructions
- Serve beverages and meals according to standard operating procedures
- Perform quality checks to ensure guest satisfaction
- Remove soiled plates and glassware according to procedure
- Suggest and serve dessert, coffee and after dinner drinks
- Verify accuracy for prices, tips, and other charges on all checks
- Handle cash and credit card charges according to procedures
- Clear and reset tables after guests leave
- Keep table, dining room, and bus station areas clean
- Advise supervisor of any complaints promptly
- Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned
- Attend pre-shift line-up as requested
- Review and turn in Z reports with correct cash drop and credit card slips
- Perform any job or guest related tasks assigned by supervisor
- Report to work in neat uniform with well-groomed appearance
- Treat all guests to ensure complete satisfaction and strive to exceed expectations
