Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- minimum 1 year of experience
- ability and stamina to work a minimum of 20 hours a week
- ability to stand/walk for 2-8 hours per day
- must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- able to frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in
- able to work in warm and cool environments indoors and outdoors
- able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic
- exposed to food, liquor, mixing devices, drink machines, water, sanitizers, cleaning products, knives, sharp objects, and slippery floors
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
- possess ethics and positive attitude supporting company values and culture
- ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
- valid certification for serving alcohol
Job Duties
- Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions to guests as necessary
- offering samples of frozen daiquiris and suggestive selling of other beverage items
- take guest drink orders from patrons at the bar or servers
- input orders into the POS system
- prepare guests drinks as ordered
- slice fruit for garnishing drinks
- clean bar and arrange glassware/plasticware for an attractive bar display
- prepare bill and accept payment or refer guest to cashier
- clear or reset bar after each guest leaves
- thank guests and invite them back
- serve as barback filling machines and cleaning entire bar occasionally
