Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverage laws and regulations
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Age of legal alcohol service in location
Job Qualifications
- Ability to prepare beverages according to recipes and standards
- Experience using POS system for beverage and food transactions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of standard sanitation and safety practices

- Flexibility to work various shifts including restaurant server duties
Job Duties
- Greet guests pleasantly as they approach the bar
- promote house drinks and food items
- utilize upselling skills to maximize revenues
- prepare beverages according to standard operating procedures with proper proportion and ingredient control
- work shifts in the restaurant as a server
- use POS system accurately, collect money and make change
- stock bar and beer cooler area as required
- keep bar and beer cooler area neat and orderly, including sanitation and washing glasses
- recognize intoxicated guests and act accordingly
- serve food to customers around the bar
- maintain liquor at par levels, order or requisition products using bottle-for-bottle control system
- complete nightly liquor list
- follow all opening and closing procedures
- maintain guest satisfaction through communication with wait staff
- prepare fruit for garnishing drinks
- monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption and notify management of incidents
- check identification and follow state and local alcohol laws
