Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read signs and follow simple oral and written instructions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to pass a background check including credit history report and meet corporate requirements
- Must be able to obtain an ABO Card and LATC Permit
- One-year experience as a bartender in restaurants with banquet facilities, convention centers, or arenas
- Must wear non-slip shoes
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift at least 45 pounds unaided
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to stand for long periods during events
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with constant customer interaction

- Knowledge of mixed drink recipes and preparation methods
- Mature judgment and professionalism
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to operate a cash register and credit card machine
Job Duties
- Provide total guest satisfaction through skilled and capable service in accordance with venue standards
- Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks following standard recipes
- Serve wine and draught or bottled beer
- Collect payment for drinks served and handle cash transactions accurately
- Arrange bottles and glasses to create an attractive display
- Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas
- Ensure attention to detail and consistency in service
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
- Verify customer identification to confirm legal drinking age
- Input sales using POS system and calculate change
- Monitor and restock bar inventory to maintain smooth operations
- Maintain inventory sheets and related paperwork
- Balance cash receipts at the conclusion of events
- Comply with all inventory control measures
- Break down bar and store supplies at end of functions
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to sanitation standards
- Follow all policies and Louisiana State Alcohol regulations
- Take direction from captain and management at all times
