Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • TIPS certification or equivalent
  • Must meet all state and local age requirements for serving alcohol
  • Successful completion of a background check is required prior to employment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • TIPS certification or equivalent
  • Previous bartending experience in a hotel, bar, or restaurant environment preferred
  • Experience with cash handling, POS systems, and bar setup/teardown
  • Familiarity with food pairing and cross-selling techniques considered a plus
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a larger service team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong mixology skills
  • Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and responsible alcohol service
  • Positive, guest-focused attitude and a proactive approach to hospitality
  • Team player with the ability to lead when required
  • Attention to detail in presentation and inventory management

Job Duties

  • Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
  • Serve wine draught, bottled beer, non-alcoholic beverages and food
  • Collect money for drinks served
  • Orders and requisitions liquors and supplies
  • Stock and replenish glasses, beverages, mixes, fruit, and guest supplies
  • Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display
  • Wash glasses, bar, and equipment
  • Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
  • prepare appetizers such as pickles, cheese and cold meats
  • Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
  • If functioning in a Lead Capacity, take responsibility for assigned associates in the absence of the Supervisor
  • assign work, and ensure proper performance of assigned associates
  • Other duties as assigned
