Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- TIPS bar safety training certification
- Schedule flexibility including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Solid communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to follow directions, be adaptable, and learn new standards and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and patience
- Executes service comfortably and confidently in a fine dining environment
- Ability to observe and adhere to club standards
Job Qualifications
- Two years of high-volume, fine-dining bartending experience
- Strong knowledge of beverage functions, mixed cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
- Experience with bar equipment and bartending techniques such as round building
- Completion of accredited bartender training program is a plus
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Positive and professional attitude with an outgoing personality
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced fine dining setting
Job Duties
- Proper equipment set-up, stocking, organization, cleaning, and break-down of the bar
- Interact with guests, carefully take, ring, and expedite drink orders
- Correctly prepare classic and original craft cocktails and libations with proper proportions, ingredients, and build methods
- Prepare beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks quickly, cleanly, and accurately per JC standards
- Interact with members, guests, and team-members with tact, graciousness, and good judgment while efficiently executing all core beverage duties
