Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to check and verify valid identification for age verification
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Availability to work varying schedules including nights and weekends
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with guests in a hospitable manner
- Ability to follow company standards and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in cash handling and order processing
- Willingness to perform assigned side work and cleaning duties

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience as a bartender or in a similar role in the hospitality industry
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage etiquette and customer service standards
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills for customer interaction
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling
- In-depth knowledge of drink recipes, merchandising specials and liquor laws
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Demonstrated reliability and a professional attitude
Job Duties
- Set up bar according to padre standards at opening and start of shifts
- Completion of assigned pre-shift side work
- Check age verification of any guest under 30 years old who orders an alcoholic beverage
- Knowledge and execution of the safe sale of alcohol including over intoxication
- Proper and professional greeting of guests upon arrival within two minutes
- Ability to interact with all guests in a friendly and hospitable manner
- Knowledgeable and enthusiastic merchandising of all food, bar and beverage items, and retail items
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to padre recipes
- Prepare bar and beverage items for servers in a timely manner
- Coordination and proper timing of steps of food served in the bar using proper service sequence and professionalism
- Proper entering of food and beverage items into the POS system
- Ensuring food is delivered to guests in a timely manner
- Run food when possible and ensure food does not sit in the window
- Ensuring guests are pleased with their food after each course applying the two bite two minute rule
- Proper and professional merchandising of the dessert menu with every dining guest
- Ability to answer food and beverage related questions from guests
- Completion of running side work according to padre standards
- Clean-up and re-setting of the bar after service
- Cleaning and dusting of all interior and exterior bar areas including stools
- Proper execution of all POS functions including opening and closing checks, entering and modifying items, and printing checks
- Correct processing and collection of final payment within three minutes
- Closing side work completed to padre standards
- Proper completion of cash-out including correct calculation of sales totals and final cash due
- Additional duties or special projects as requested by management
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Adaptability to varying schedules due to business needs
