Monona Catering is the exclusive catering service provider for the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous cooking experience preferred
- ability to work afternoon or early evening shifts starting at or before 3:00 pm
- willingness to comply with union workplace standards
- adherence to personal appearance standards including neatly trimmed facial hair and limited facial piercings
- capable of maintaining an average of 30 hours of work per week
- physical ability to perform kitchen duties
Job Qualifications

- previous cooking experience in a catering or food service setting preferred
- knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties
- prepare and cook a variety of foods according to established recipes and standards
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and food preparation areas
- assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- follow safety and health regulations at all times
- collaborate with catering staff to ensure timely meal service
- adhere to uniform and personal appearance standards
- assist with setup and breakdown of kitchen equipment as needed
