Job Requirements
- Food handler's permit is required
- Alcohol server's permit is required
- Previous food and beverage experience is required
- Strong communication skills are essential
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 25 pounds
- Basic technology use is required
- Must be able to work as part of a team and support other departments as needed
Job Qualifications
- Previous food and beverage and/or serving experience is required
- Some locations may require bartending experience specifically
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, write, type and use basic technology
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to obtain a Food Handler's Permit and Alcohol Server's Permit
- Ability to stand and move around for an entire shift
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
Job Duties
- Serve guests in the bar, restaurant and room service attentively and efficiently
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- Serve wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages
- Serve food prepared in the restaurant as needed
- Offer both flexibility and creativity to meet guest requests
- Complete guest orders and accurately collect payments
- Clean and wash bar ware, utensils and bar area
- Restock and prep bar items as needed
- Assist with quality, cleanliness and organization of the bar, restaurant and kitchen
- Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items
- Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments
