Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • at least one year of bar experience
  • knowledge of spirits and wine
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to operate a cash register and point of sale system
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently
  • manual dexterity for preparation of garnishes and drink mixing
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • comply with attendance requirements

  • ability to operate point of sale systems

Job Duties

  • Make cocktails and provide exceptional guest experiences
  • maintain proper and adequate bar setup daily including requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments and produce
  • maintain stock, cut and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and perishables daily to ensure product quality
  • greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document drink orders
  • mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and portion control
  • abide by all state, federal and corporate requirements related to serving alcoholic beverages
  • input orders into the register and create checks for guests to maintain beverage accountability
  • handle cash transactions, verify charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed
  • lock and store beverage, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure the bank
  • comply with attendance rules and maintain regular availability
  • perform any other job-related duties as assigned
