Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous bartending experience in a hotel bar or restaurant environment preferred
  • TIPS certification or equivalent required
  • Must meet all state and local age requirements for serving alcohol
  • Experience with cash handling POS systems and bar setup and teardown
  • Ability to greet guests warmly and maintain a guest-focused attitude
  • Commitment to cleanliness safety and responsible alcohol service

Job Qualifications

  • Previous bartending experience in a hotel bar or restaurant environment preferred
  • Experience with cash handling POS systems and bar setup and teardown
  • Familiarity with food pairing and cross-selling techniques considered a plus
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a larger service team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • TIPS certification or equivalent required
  • Must meet all state and local age requirements for serving alcohol

Job Duties

  • Mix ingredients such as liquor soda water sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
  • Serve wine draught bottled beer non-alcoholic beverages and food
  • Collect money for drinks served
  • Order and requisition liquors and supplies stock and replenish glasses beverages mixes fruit and guest supplies
  • Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display
  • Wash glasses bar and equipment
  • Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks prepare appetizers such as pickles cheese and cold meats
  • Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
  • Take responsibility for assigned associates in the absence of the supervisor if functioning in a lead capacity
  • Assign work and ensure proper performance of assigned associates if functioning in a lead capacity
  • Perform other duties as assigned
