Job Requirements
- 21 plus years old
- Prior bar service experience
- Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
- Reliable transportation required
- High school degree or GED preferred
- Ability to build relationships
- Ability to be a team player
- Ability to follow manager instructions and guidance
- Ability to communicate and behave professionally at all times
Job Qualifications

- ServeSafe Alcohol Certification a plus

Job Duties
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's recipes
- Interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and bar offerings
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work as required
- Slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- Presents guest checks to bar patrons and handles cash or credit transactions accurately
- Processes employee and manager food orders
- Relays food orders to kitchen via point-of-sale system in a timely and accurate manner
- Manages service of alcohol complying with all state and federal laws, company, and brand policies
- Participates in clearing and resetting the bar
- Occasionally serves guests in a Carside To-Go capacity
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment
- Explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- Drives sales with suggestive selling techniques creating legendary customer experiences
- Participates in local store marketing initiatives to increase bar traffic and overall restaurant sales
- Removes trash and garbage from bar service area to dumpster
