Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- one to two years of bartending experience
- meet minimum state requirements for serving alcohol
- possess alcohol awareness certification
- have food service permit if required
- ability to stand for entire shift
- able to exert medium physical effort lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- willing to work long and irregular hours including nights and weekends
- good oral and written communication skills
- capable of working under pressure
- able to resolve guest complaints satisfactorily
- maintain composure under stress
- problem-solving ability
- work effectively in fast-paced environment
- ability to understand and use financial information
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- maintain regular attendance in compliance with standards
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- comply with standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- greet guests pleasantly and promote house drinks and food items
- prepare beverages according to standard operating procedures
- maintain clean and organized work areas
- monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption
- ring guest checks, collect cash and process payments
- perform opening and closing side work
- prepare beverages and cocktails with proper mixing and presentation
- serve guests warmly and professionally
- ensure lounge areas are clean and tidy
- be familiar with the computer system
- follow all state liquor laws
- assist in maintaining beverage cost
- follow procedures in serving liquor responsibly
- complete beverage requisitions
- stock and clean glassware
- check age identification
- check soda tanks
- prepare garnishes
- assist in cleaning tables and lounge
- attend meetings and training
