Job Requirements
- 21+ years old
- prior bar service experience
- ServeSafe Alcohol Certification a plus
- reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
- reliable transportation required
- high school degree or GED preferred
- ability to build relationships

- ability to follow manager instructions and guidance
- ability to communicate and behave professionally at all times

Job Duties
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's standards
- interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and promotions
- completes assigned opening and closing side work as required
- slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- presents guest checks to bar patrons and handles payment transactions accurately
- processes employee and manager food orders
- relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system in a timely and accurate manner
- manages service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and regulations, company policies, and brand standards
- participates in the clearing and resetting of the bar area
- may occasionally serve guests in Carside To-Go service
- maintains a clean and organized work environment
- explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- drives sales with suggestive selling techniques and builds customer relationships
- participates in Local Store Marketing to promote bar traffic and overall restaurant business
- removes trash and garbage from bar service area to dumpster
