- prior bar service experience
- serveSafe Alcohol Certification a plus
- reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required

Job Duties
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's recipes
- interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat environment
- greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and specials
- completes assigned opening and closing side work as scheduled
- slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drink preparation
- presents guest checks to bar patrons, making correct change and completing credit transactions accurately
- processes employee and manager food orders
- relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system in a timely and accurate manner
- manages service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as company policies
- participates in the clearing and resetting of the bar area
- occasionally serves guests in a Carside To-Go capacity
- maintains a clean and organized work environment
- explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- drives sales with suggestive selling techniques, creating a legendary customer experience
- participates in local store marketing efforts to drive bar traffic and overall restaurant sales
- removes trash and garbage from bar service area to dumpster
