Job Requirements
- 21 plus years old
- Prior bar service experience
- Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
- Reliable transportation required
- High School Degree or GED preferred
- Ability to build relationships
- Ability to be a team player
- Ability to follow manager instructions and guidance
- Ability to communicate and behave professionally at all times
Job Qualifications

- Prior bar service experience
- ServeSafe Alcohol Certification a plus
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Bi-lingual experience a plus

Job Duties
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's recipes
- Interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Greets guests, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and promotions
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work tasks to ensure the bar is ready for service
- Slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for beverages
- Presents guest checks to bar patrons and handles cash or credit transactions accurately
- Processes employee and manager food orders
- Relays food orders to the kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system in a timely and accurate manner
- Manages service of alcohol in compliance with all state, federal laws, and company policies
- Participates in clearing and resetting the bar area
- Occasionally serves guests in a Carside To-Go setting
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment
- Explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- Uses suggestive selling techniques to drive sales and enhance customer experience
- Engages in local store marketing activities to increase bar traffic and overall restaurant sales
- Removes trash and garbage from bar service area to dumpster.
