Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- at least one year of experience working as a barista, bartender, and/or in food preparation
- ability to handle cash register tasks
- willingness to learn new skills
- ability to memorize menu items
- ability and desire to obey all local, state, and federal laws
- capability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, bending, climbing, stooping, and lifting up to 50lbs

- ability to deliver quality beverages consistently and according to shop standards
- ability to handle all required tasks around handling cash register
- knowledge of all menus and ability to communicate all food and beverage offerings
- ability to maintain clean and clear service areas
- ability to perform correct POS transactions, closing duties, and accounting procedures as required
- ability and desire to obey all local, state, and federal laws
- ability to memorize and become knowledgeable of menu items
Job Duties
- Support a strong commitment to world class guest service and ensure a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience for restaurant patrons
- function as location expert on bar systems, recipes, procedures, and knowledge of liquor, wine, and beer served
- complete all training requirements
- greet bar guests promptly
- use suggestive selling techniques
- record beverage orders, enter orders into computer system, prepare drinks according to established guidelines, and deliver drinks to guests
- monitor guests' drinks to anticipate re-order requests
- collect monies owed and perform guest check accountability procedures including balanced bar drawer and tip declaration activities
- prepare and complete orders for servers
- wash bar service ware, set up, clean, stock, and maintain bar area and bar cooler
- perform server responsibilities as needed, including handling 'To Go' and associate food orders
- perform inventory activities as scheduled
- understand and execute procedures for verifying guests' legal ability to purchase and consume alcohol and prevent overindulgence
- perform all other duties as assigned
