Job Requirements
- 21 plus years old
- Prior bar service experience
- Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
- Reliable transportation required
- High school degree or GED preferred
- Ability to build relationships
- Ability to be a team player
- Ability to follow manager instructions and guidance
- Ability to communicate and behave professionally at all times
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and engaging demeanor
- Prior bar service experience
- ServeSafe Alcohol Certification a plus
- Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required
- Bi-lingual experience a plus
- High school degree or GED preferred

Job Duties
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's standards
- Interact verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Greet guests, answer questions, make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and menu items
- Complete assigned opening and closing side work
- Slice fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- Present guest checks to bar patrons and process payments accurately
- Process employee and manager food orders
- Relay food orders to kitchen via point-of-sale system accurately and timely
- Manage service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and company policies
- Participate in clearing and resetting of the bar
- Occasionally serve guests in Carside To-Go service
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Explain and demonstrate usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- Drive sales with suggestive selling techniques
- Participate in local store marketing to drive bar traffic
- Remove trash and garbage from bar area to dumpster
