Job Requirements
- 21 plus years old
- Friendly and engaging demeanor
- Prior bar service experience
- ServeSafe Alcohol Certification a plus
- Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
- Bi-lingual experience a plus
- Reliable transportation required
- High school degree or GED preferred
- Ability to build relationships

- Ability to follow manager instructions and guidance
- Ability to communicate and behave professionally at all times

Job Duties
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's standards
- Interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Greets guests, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and drinks
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work
- Slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- Presents guest checks to bar patrons, makes correct change and processes credit transactions
- Processes employee and manager food orders
- Relays food orders to kitchen via point-of-sale computerized register system in a timely and accurate manner
- Manages service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and regulations as well as company policies
- Participates in clearing and resetting of the bar
- May occasionally serve guests in Carside To-Go service
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- Drives sales with suggestive selling techniques, creating a legendary customer experience
- Participates in local store marketing to increase bar traffic and restaurant sales
- Removes trash and garbage from the bar service area to dumpster
