Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous bartending experience preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • legal age to serve alcohol
  • excellent communication skills
  • must be able to work an on-call schedule
  • must comply with all health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • knowledge of state and federal liquor laws
  • ability to perform cash handling accurately
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • capability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work area

Job Duties

  • Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly courteous and timely manner
  • adheres to state federal and corporate liquor regulations
  • sets up assigned bars and stocks all necessary supplies
  • maintains stock and prepares fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes and juices
  • greets guests courteously
  • takes and processes drink orders mixing garnishing and presenting drinks using standard recipes
  • checks guests for proper identification
  • detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained
  • handles cash transactions and records charges accurately
  • secures beverage products cash deposits and equipment
  • performs general cleaning to maintain health and safety standards
  • arranges bottles and glasses to create an attractive bar display
  • washes and sterilizes stemware
  • performs other duties as assigned
