Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous bartending experience preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- legal age to serve alcohol
- excellent communication skills
- must be able to work an on-call schedule
- must comply with all health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- knowledge of state and federal liquor laws
- ability to perform cash handling accurately
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- capability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work area
Job Duties
- Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly courteous and timely manner
- adheres to state federal and corporate liquor regulations
- sets up assigned bars and stocks all necessary supplies
- maintains stock and prepares fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes and juices
- greets guests courteously
- takes and processes drink orders mixing garnishing and presenting drinks using standard recipes
- checks guests for proper identification
- detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained
- handles cash transactions and records charges accurately
- secures beverage products cash deposits and equipment
- performs general cleaning to maintain health and safety standards
- arranges bottles and glasses to create an attractive bar display
- washes and sterilizes stemware
- performs other duties as assigned
