Job Requirements
- One year of prior bartending experience preferred
- Prior guest relations training
- Proper food safety training and certification as described by law
- Experience working with POS (Toast, Micros, Aloha, etc) and reservation software (Toast)
- Strong knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Knowledge of proper food handling
- Excellent written/verbal communications skills
- Positive upbeat attitude/personality
- Punctuality and reliable attendance are required
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with minimum supervision
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Must be willing to work flexible hours such as mornings, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food & beverage, health and safety regulations
- Exemplify outstanding communication skills
- Check in with clientele to ensure satisfaction
- Keep a clean and tidy work area
- Complete opening/closing duties
- Adhere to cash handling policies and perform credit card charges
- Participate in inventory and determine adequate par levels
- Perform other duties as assigned
