Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certification required
  • ServSafe card (California, Florida)
  • Food Handlers card (California, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, Virginia)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Responsible Beverage Service Certification
  • Ability to mix cocktails to specifications
  • Strong communication skills, including clear writing and speaking
  • Passionate, determined and empathetic team player
  • Experience in hospitality or bartending preferred
  • Knowledge of state and federal liquor laws
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests of the bar and dining room following standard recipes
  • Monitor and ensure that no guest receives more than the allowed number of specific drinks
  • Understand and comply with state and federal liquor laws, including the ID validation process and alcohol awareness procedures for preventing guest intoxication
  • Maintain a well-organized, well-run bar
  • Communicate clearly with guests and team members
  • Multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Prepare thoroughly and strive for perfection in cocktail making
