Job Duties
- mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following recipes and customer requests
- check customer identification to verify legal drinking age
- maintain knowledge of drink menus, ingredients, and pairings
- suggest drinks based on customer preferences
- greet customers and take orders efficiently
- engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere
- handle complaints or concerns professionally
- monitor customer alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary
- process payments via cash, credit card, or POS system
- manage tabs and ensure accurate billing
- restock bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
- keep track of inventory levels and report shortages
- clean and sanitize bar equipment, utensils, and glassware
- ensure the bar area is organized and tidy
- dispose of trash and follow health and safety regulations
