Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have ability to deliver high level of customer service while working under pressure
- Good oral communication skills
- Ability to calculate and complete liquid measurements
- Ability to do simple math and count change accurately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in food service or bartending preferred
- Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training and/or certification
- Good oral communication skills
- Ability to deliver high-level customer service under pressure
- Ability to perform simple math and accurate cash handling
- Knowledge of liquid measurements for drink preparation
Job Duties
- Attend Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training and adhere to responsible alcohol and tobacco service policy
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar patrons using correct measures and pours
- Check customers' identification to verify legal drinking age
- Record drink orders accurately and promptly into the register system
- Collect guest payments, process credit card transactions, and provide change as necessary
- Take food orders, enter them into the register system, and deliver to patrons
- Maintain bar stock and cleanliness, arrange bottles and glasses attractively and functionally
- Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment per company and health guidelines
- Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks and appetizers for patrons
- Communicate low stock items to the food and beverage manager
- Follow closing and duty checklists as appropriate
- Report equipment problems and maintenance issues to management
- Limit liability by following company procedures for managing excessive drinking
- Demonstrate commitment to service and positive interactions with club staff and guests
- Perform additional assignments as directed by club or company managers
- Ensure regular and punctual attendance for all scheduled shifts is maintained
