Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a bartender or server preferred
- Certification in Alcohol Awareness and Food Handler preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to handle cash and perform basic math
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of beverage preparation and cocktail recipes
- Experience with POS systems
- Ability to multitask and maintain organization
- Responsible alcohol service knowledge
- Prior experience in hospitality or food service preferred
Job Duties
- Greet and serve guests promptly with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Prepare beverages and cocktails to recipe specifications, following proper portion control and presentation standards
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely delivery to guests
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and service standards to ensure consistent quality and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized bar and service area throughout the shift
- Perform opening and closing side work per company standards
- Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
- Comply with Alcohol Awareness, Food Handler, and other certification requirements
- Follow state liquor laws and serve alcohol responsibly
- Accurately use POS systems to ring orders and close checks
- Handle all cash and credit transactions per established procedures
- Maintain positive interactions with team members and management
- Respond flexibly to operational needs and perform other duties as assigned
