Job Requirements
- Able to lift 25 plus pounds
- Able to stand on feet for 8 hours uninterrupted
- Able to be stationary for multiple hours completing repetitive tasks
- Able to move quickly throughout the restaurant
- Able to access and navigate all areas of the restaurant
- Able to work in excessive heat and cold associated with kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Able to speak English
- Comfortable working with a team
- Basic math knowledge particularly addition and subtraction
- Able to take constructive criticism
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Good verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with technology such as POS systems, printers, and kitchen display systems
- Able to multitask and prioritize on the fly
- Prior experience in retail or restaurant roles such as barback or bartender preferred
- Knowledge of basic measurements
- Knowledge of liquor laws in the jurisdiction
- Knowledge of alcohol pairings and tastings
- Local Alcohol Handler's certification if applicable
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service at the bar
- Greet guests upon arrival
- Memorize menu and cocktail recipes
- Ring in food and drink orders using POS systems
- Prepare garnishes, syrups, and nonalcoholic beverages
- Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Complete opening and closing procedures as directed
