Job Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Prior bar service experience
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to build relationships
- Ability to work as a team player
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to stand and move quickly for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ServeSafe Alcohol Certification preferred
- High School Degree or GED preferred

Job Duties
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's standards
- Interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Greets guests, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and drinks
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work
- Slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for beverages
- Presents guest checks to bar patrons, makes correct change, and completes any necessary credit transactions
- Processes employee and manager food orders
- Relays food orders to the kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized system timely and accurately
- Manages service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws, company policies, and brand standards
- Participates in clearing and resetting the bar
- Occasionally serves guests in a Carside To-Go setting
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices
- Drives sales with suggestive selling techniques and creates a legendary customer experience
- Participates in Local Store Marketing to drive bar traffic and overall restaurant sales
- Removes trash and garbage from bar service area to dumpster
