Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Valid alcohol service certification as required by state
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work full-time or part-time shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of state federal and corporate liquor regulations
- Hold a current food handler card
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service
- Basic mathematical skills for cash register operation and cash handling
- Basic English writing skills to complete requisitions and vouchers
- Manual dexterity to prepare garnishes and mix drinks
- Basic English to understand customer inquiries and instructions
- Ability to apply written product labeling instructions
- Ability to recall and promote menu items
- Ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee makers
- Ability to transport up to 30 pounds through crowded areas continuously
Job Duties
- Serve beverages and food to guests in a friendly courteous and timely manner
- Prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests
- Act as cashier for the lounge including receiving cash making change and verifying charges
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner and promote drink orders
- Mix garnish and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
- Maintain proper and adequate bar setup including requisitioning and stocking supplies
- Maintain stock cut and store fresh fruit vegetable garnishes and other perishables
- Answer bar phone promptly take room service orders and input into register
- Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards
- Follow safety security procedures and report unsafe conditions
- Maintain neat clean well-groomed appearance as outlined in team member handbook
- Assist other beverage personnel as needed
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
