Job Requirements

- minimum of 1-2 years of bartending experience

Job Duties
- Take drink orders from patrons
- serve wine, beer and snacks
- collect money for drinks served
- balance cash receipts
- check identification of customers in order to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- clean glasses, utensils and bar equipment
- clean bars, work areas and tables
- arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays
- order or requisition beer, wine and supplies
- unloading and stocking bottles, glasses and other related supplies
- monitor beer kegs and change out when necessary
- comply with food and beverage regulations
- attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons
- use best judgement when dealing with inebriated customers
- contact local law enforcement should the situation permit
- perform other duties as assigned
