Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- high school diploma or GED required
- 1+ years previous bartending experience preferred
- advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and Micros station
- must understand and comply with state liquor laws
- must be service oriented with excellent customer service and sales skills
- ability to effectively communicate in English
- energetic and outgoing
- possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- ability to follow directions with speed and accuracy
- team player able to work under minimal supervision
- ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
- ability to understand and work with basic financial information
- able to type 45 wpm
- proficient in Microsoft Office

- travel as needed for hotel familiarization and content creation

Job Duties
- Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following established guidelines, procedures and policies
- perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner
- ring guest checks, collect cash and process credits and room charges
- complete liquor requisitions and supply lists
- know and comply with state liquor laws
- ensure established pars are maintained
- perform all side work duties according to side work schedules
- attend to bar and tables, take orders and deliver in a timely manner
- bus tables and set in a timely manner
- perform opening and closing side work according to standards
- prepare beverages and cocktails according to standards for mixing, portion control and presentation
- serve guests with all food and beverage requirements in a warm, friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- ensure bar, lounge, lobby and event areas are kept clean and tidy
- be familiar with the computer POS system
- carry out cashiering functions by closing checks and servicing guests
- follow all state liquor laws and required training
- follow procedures in serving liquor to avoid issues with intoxicated guests
- stock and clean glassware
- check soda tanks and secure them properly
- prepare all garnishes
- prepare juices and syrups for bar service
- change kegs and soda bibs
- assist in cleaning tables and lounge areas
- ensure overall guest satisfaction
- deliver food to guests
- have knowledge of food and drink menus to offer suggestions and upsell
- quality control all food and beverage items served
- follow hotel handbook protocols
- perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
