- 21 plus years old
- reliable transportation required

- reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required

Job Duties
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's recipes
- interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- greets guests, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and menu items
- completes assigned opening and closing side work
- slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- presents guest checks to bar patrons, makes correct change and/or completes credit transactions
- processes employee and manager food orders
- relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system in a timely and accurate manner
- manages service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and company policies
- participates in clearing and resetting the bar
- may occasionally serve guests in a Carside To-Go context
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- drives sales with suggestive selling techniques, creating a legendary customer experience
- participates in local store marketing to drive bar traffic and overall restaurant business
- removes trash and garbage from bar service area to dumpster
