  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and enthusiasm in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of handling cash and operating Point-of-Sale systems effectively
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines related to beverage service
  • Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting

Job Duties

  • Greet guest and take orders within Andretti guidelines always exceeding guests expectations
  • Prepare standard and specialty mixed drinks
  • Pour wine and beer quickly accurately and without waste
  • Deliver food and beverage in a professional manner according to Andretti standards
  • Collect payment for all items purchased and consumed and operate the Point-of-Sale system with ease
  • Count cash drawer at the beginning of the shift for accuracy and ensure adequate amount of change is present
  • Maintain an organized work area and proactively clean and reset tables
  • Order and maintain liquor and bar supplies display bottles in an aesthetically pleasing manner
  • Properly dispose of broken glassware
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with local health regulations
  • Sufficiently handle and accurately count money
  • Check identification of any guest consuming alcohol
  • Follow all state and company guidelines regarding beverage services
  • Observe instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence
  • Assist with guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive guest experiences
  • Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and fellow co-workers
  • Perform opening running and closing department duties as assigned
