Job Requirements
- One year of prior bartending experience preferred
- prior guest relations training
- proper food safety training and certification as described by law
- experience working with POS (Toast, Micros, Aloha, etc) and reservation software (Toast)
- strong knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- knowledge of proper food handling
- excellent written and verbal communications skills
- positive upbeat attitude and personality
- punctuality and reliable attendance
- ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with minimum supervision
- ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- must be willing to work flexible hours such as mornings, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- plan and present bar menu
- check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- comply with all food and beverage, health and safety regulations
- exemplify outstanding communication skills and create unique experiences for clientele
- check in with clientele to ensure satisfaction
- keep a clean and tidy work area and guest areas
- complete opening and closing duties and follow standards
- adhere to cash handling policies and perform credit card charges
- participate in inventory and determine adequate par levels
- perform other duties as assigned
