Job Requirements
- 21 plus years old
- reliable transportation required
- friendly and engaging demeanor
- prior bar service experience
- serve safe alcohol certification a plus
- reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required
- bi-lingual experience a plus
- high school degree or GED preferred

Job Duties
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's
- interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and promotions
- completes assigned opening and closing side work
- slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- presents guest checks to bar patrons and processes payments
- processes employee and manager food orders
- relays food orders to kitchen using point-of-sale system accurately and timely
- manages service of alcohol according to state and federal laws and company policies
- participates in clearing and resetting of the bar
- may serve guests in Carside To-Go service occasionally
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- explains and demonstrates usage of tabletop electronic devices
- drives sales with suggestive selling techniques and creates legendary customer experiences
- participates in local store marketing to increase bar traffic and overall restaurant visits
- removes trash and garbage from the bar area to dumpster
