Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One year of bartending experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol
  • Must have completed alcohol awareness training
  • Ability to work 25 to 35 hours per week
  • Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
  • Strong communication skills
  • Dependability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to two years of bartending experience
  • Legal age to serve liquor according to state law
  • Working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common drink recipes
  • Strong customer and guest orientation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dependable and responsible

Job Duties

  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Maintain a supply of all bar products and supplies including glassware and expendable items
  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, and equipment
  • Assure compliance with all laws applicable to beverage operations
  • Collect payment for drinks served and provide immediate attention to guests
  • Learn the names of regular guests and personally recognize them
  • Monitor guest experience and take action to ensure excellent customer service
  • Inspect the bar prior to opening for adequate supplies and inventory
  • Prepare garnishes, mix and pre-mixed drinks
  • Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned
  • Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies including verifying legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
  • Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
