Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One year of bartending experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol
- Must have completed alcohol awareness training
- Ability to work 25 to 35 hours per week
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
- Strong communication skills
- Dependability
Job Qualifications

- One to two years of bartending experience
- Legal age to serve liquor according to state law
- Working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common drink recipes
- Strong customer and guest orientation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Maintain a supply of all bar products and supplies including glassware and expendable items
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, and equipment
- Assure compliance with all laws applicable to beverage operations
- Collect payment for drinks served and provide immediate attention to guests
- Learn the names of regular guests and personally recognize them
- Monitor guest experience and take action to ensure excellent customer service
- Inspect the bar prior to opening for adequate supplies and inventory
- Prepare garnishes, mix and pre-mixed drinks
- Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned
- Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies including verifying legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
- Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
