- prior experience in food and beverage service preferred
- current Food Handler Card
- knowledge of liquor laws and safety regulations
- ability to stand and walk for long periods

Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations
- current Food Handler Card
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic drinks
- basic math skills for operating cash register and handling money
- basic English writing skills for requisitions and vouchers
- manual dexterity to prepare garnishes and handle bar tools
- ability to understand customer inquiries and communicate effectively
- ability to follow written instructions and product labeling
- ability to memorize and promote menu items
- ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee maker
- physical ability to transport items up to 30 pounds continuously during shift
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to perform frequent twisting, bending, stooping, and reaching
- ability to maintain a friendly demeanor
Job Duties
- Serve beverages and food to guests in a friendly and timely manner
- greet guests courteously and promote drink orders
- mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes
- maintain proper bar setup including requisitioning and stocking supplies
- prepare and store fresh garnishes and perishables daily
- manage cash transactions including verifying charges and balancing money
- lock up and store beverages and equipment securely
- answer bar phone promptly and take room service orders
- input orders into register and create guest checks
- perform general cleaning tasks using hotel-standard products
- adhere to all company policies and procedures
- follow safety and security rules and practices
- report unsafe conditions and incidents to supervisor
- maintain a neat and clean appearance
- assist other beverage personnel as needed
- perform any related duties assigned by supervisor or manager
